Recently I have found myself with a fair bit of free time on my hands as my eldest son has gone off to Uni leaving me at home with one teenager and two dogs (Hamish & Bella). I didn't know what to do with all that spare time so I decided to combine my passion for growing fruit and vegetables in my back garden with my other passion of cooking. The surplus of produce led me to start making Jams and Chutneys (my goodness there was a lot) and I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed making them and how very tasty they were - I mean what's not to love when sugar is involved!!!!
